How to make the doughnut dough.

Mix dry ingredients excluding the dry yeast.

    2
    Done

Add melted butter to warm milk then add yeast. Please mix this well and bear in mind that if your milk is more than warm it will kill the yeast and if less than warm it will not be able to activate the yeast.

    3
    Done

Mix and need your dough. If it feels dry at some more milk or water until it's tacky or wet and stretchy. Knead the dough for at least 15 Mins. Oil the surface with oil before kneading no flour.

    Done

Cover the dough and let it rise

    5
    Done

Roll your dough, then cut out your doughnuts. I don't have a doughnut cutter so I used a big cookie cutter and a milk cap to make big and small circles.

    6
    Done

Fry them at medium heat increase the heat when they start floating to make them golden brown.

How to make your doughnut glaze

The glaze is completely optional and you are free to use any colors you want and even add some sprinkles depending on your personality and who you are making them for.

    8
    Done

    Sugar glaze
2 powderded sugar one cup water, boil for 5 Mins then reduce hit. When it thickens its ready for use. Dip the doughnuts and set it aside to cool.

    9
    Done

    Vanilla white glaze

Using 2 cups of powdered sugar, 75 grams melted butter, 5 tablespoons milk and1 tsp vanilla. When the glaze is well incorporated, dip your doughnuts in the glaze one or both sides and set aside for a proper setting. I added a few drops of unflavored pink food coloring to make a pink glaze. So if you want any other color just add food coloring.

    Chocolate glaze

I used 2 cups chocolate icing powder which if you don't have can be substituted by 2 cups powdered sugar then add cocoa. I added this to 75 grams of melted butter and 5 tablespoons of milk.

    11
    Done

You can add sprinkles, or draw funny patterns on your doughnuts. Emmanuel loved the chocolate glazed doughnuts and suggested plain sugar glazed doughnuts weren't tasty enough for him. So I would say colorful doughnuts are a safe choice for kids and the sugar glazed doughnuts are ok for adults.
