While beef is generally a slow cooking type of meat, cooking the Pan-seared beef steak will surprisingly give you less than normal time preparing the meal so here is how to cook this perfect meaty meal.

    Steps

    1
    Done

Slice your meat halfway through, in a box pattern. I started vertically then proceeded horizontally. The cuts should not be too deep. Marinate your meat and refrigerate for 10 minutes. To my meat I added a herb called Lippia Javanica, popularly know in Zimbabwe by its local name Zumbani. It's very healthy and tastes like mint or strong lemon.

    2
    Done

Heat your oil at medium high heat. Gently place your steak and turn it after 5 minutes. Cover your pan for 10 minutes.

    3
    Done

You will notice that your steaks will produce their own "water". Allow it to evaporate and turn your steaks then add a little bit of water. Cover the pot for another 10 minutes.

    4
    Done

When the water is finished you can perfect frying your meat or serve it as is. Enjoy your tender steak!
